Dear Visitor:

Thank you for visiting our site. The links from The Sea Ranch tab above provide some pictures of our home in The Sea Ranch, a map of the area, a calendar of availability and reservation form you may submit electronically or print and mail/fax, and comments from guests.

The pictures give an idea of what it is like in and around the house. Many people want to rent in the meadow (west of Highway One), but we have found the hillside weather to be better, especially in the summer, where there is less wind and fog. Highway One is to the west below a hill, it is both out of sight and earshot from our home. Naturally, we are happy with the view! Deer, wild turkeys and rabbits visit regularly. A number of trails to the bluff and into the redwood forest are nearby. The recreation center with heated pool, tennis, volleyball, basketball and sauna is next to the white barn, and is only a five-minute walk.

This is a no smoking, no pet home. It has three bedrooms (king, queen and a double), two full baths, a fully equipped kitchen, an outdoor hot tub, sheltered private deck, Jacuzzi whirlpool bathtub, steam shower, heated tile floor, washer and dryer, dishwasher, satellite TV, microwave, CD, DVD & VCR, briquette BBQ, etc. Bed linens and towels are not provided. You are welcome to use the supplies you find in our house, but please replace what you use (other than the firewood). Gualala, with good restaurants, groceries, art galleries and boutiques is eight minutes up Highway One. Our house manual has a number of suggestions concerning restaurants, attractions and services.

Our rental rate when you deal directly with us is $185 per night, with the seventh night free, plus a $200 refundable security deposit and non-refundable $60 check in & out fee. There is also a mid-week three nights for the price of two November thru March, excluding holiday periods. Two nights is the minimum for non-holidays, and the holiday periods vary. The reservation form gives more particulars.

The Sea Ranch offers many things to do. Three recreation centers offer swimming, tennis and sauna facilities, one even has a basketball court and a sand volleyball court. There are miles of well marked trails for hiking or bicycling. A trail map is in our home for your use. There are a number of beaches and tide pooling spots to explore. The Sea Ranch has a children's playground area that includes swings, slides, picnic and more. The Gualala River beach provides an alternative destination for picnicing and swimming. The Sea Ranch also has an 18 hole, Scottish-style golf course available to you on a fee basis. For more information about The Sea Ranch, please check out the Association website at www.tsra.org.

We would love to hear from you!
